Cell Phone Case For Jitterbug Smartphone

This Cell Phone Mount was bought for my Wife. She watches videos on her cell phone often and I thought this was a better idea than leaning her phone against a bottle of ketchup or loaf of bread. Combining this with a tiny foldable tripod gives her a compact stand for her cell phone and she now uses it almost daily. She seems to like it and it folds up to take very little space. The mount had a slight hangup when I first tried it out but seems to work fine now. The threads in the plastic parts are actually brass inserts that are moulded in place so they will probably hold up a lot longer than plain plastic would. The plastic is well moulded and seems to be pretty good quality. In theory, the mount will stand up without a tripod, but it isn't stable.

I wanted 3 things in a smartphone mount: grip to hold the phone tightly; depth to hold the phone with the case on it; and a cold shoe mount. This has all 3. My Samsung S10e with its case are going nowhere. In fact, if you tighten it too much, you could damage the phone. It has three 1/4 threaded holes to mount on a tripod: one on the bottom and one on each side. Thus, the phone could be mounted horizontally/landscape or vertically/portrait.

Although the main function of this case is not being pretty, it is the prettiest smartphone case I have seen and felt. My phone is wearing it today as a regular case, I'm not carrying any lenses or filters, I just like it.

I bought this unit to use my smartphone to make some YouTube videos and it works just fine. I bought the biggest smartphone, the new Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra then added a protective case. The camera mount opened wide enough to clamp the phone securely without removing the case. The Bluetooth shutter release sync'd with my phone fairly easily and works fine.

This product is well made and fits my smartphone even when protected with an Otterbox case. The Otterbox case is just shy of 3.5 wide. The phone mounts easily on the clip.

I am so happy with this magnetic smartphone adapter. It was easy to place the magnet buffer inside the phone case, then add the round adhesive plate to the back of the phone. It has a strong attachment pull to the magnetic on the tripod mount. Quick setup.

This adapter works perfectly to mount your smartphone onto a tripod. It’s locking system held my iPhone 6s and my clients Galaxy S8 securely with nary a wobble or quiver. This was not the case with a different type of adapter that wasn’t secure enough. I was able to use my iPhone in a case, the Galaxy was not in a case, ymmv. Also did not try and use it with either phone plugged in, but you should have no problems depending on how you orient your phone and where in the mount you use it. The added feature of the ball joint gives you a great way to adjust the phone as desired for your shot without having to adjust your tripod head. We had it mounted on a slider and this worked out well to not have any phone adjustments interfere with the head settings. The flat bottom has several different holes and sizes for precise placement on a speed plate or other mounting devices. I would recommend this highly for any professional use of a smartphone as a capture device.

Wonderful case to carry point and shoot or cell phone on the boat or to the beach.

I like the feature that it is also connected to my cell phone.
