This Cell Phone Mount was bought for my Wife. She watches videos on her cell phone often and I thought this was a better idea than leaning her phone against a bottle of ketchup or loaf of bread. Combining this with a tiny foldable tripod gives her a compact stand for her cell phone and she now uses it almost daily. She seems to like it and it folds up to take very little space. The mount had a slight hangup when I first tried it out but seems to work fine now. The threads in the plastic parts are actually brass inserts that are moulded in place so they will probably hold up a lot longer than plain plastic would. The plastic is well moulded and seems to be pretty good quality. In theory, the mount will stand up without a tripod, but it isn't stable.

Easy, light-weight way to improve cell phone photography, especially if you are carrying a small purse. Love it!

I do a lot of rough-country hiking and photography. I use my cell phone a lot in this, for trip planning, GPS tracking, apps, etc. If I drop my phone, there is no telling where it might end up, and the predicament I would be in. A tether is critical for me, and this is the easiest and best way I have found for attaching a tether. It is brilliantly simple.

I like the feature that it is also connected to my cell phone.
