Haven't used for travel yet....next month to the national parks out West. Been using here to familiarise myself, easy to use, light enough to travel with, fits easily on my backpack, and I find very sturdy....even with my Canon 5D Mark lll, battery pack, & a Canon 100-400 zoom lens.

Took this carrier to the national parks...comfortable, wore all day hiking never had to worry about camera swinging or getting in the way. Easy to access camera when needed but held .camera securly.. It was nice to have both hands free and not worry about the camera bumping into anything....

I purchased the 8X40 binoculars for an upcoming trip to some national parks. I've never owned or used binoculars before; so I have nothing to base my comments on other than I really like the binoculars. They are probably just what I need, and they seem to be well made. The binoculars were recommended to me by a friend who owns a pair of Nikon binoculars. After trying out the binoculars (looking at deer in my backyard), I kind of wish I had a built in camera.

I just hit 4 National Parks over the last 2 weeks and took over 1300 pictures of wildlife and landscapes with the E-620 combo. The camera performed very well and the pictures are outstanding. Since I bought the camera just before the trip, I did not spend much time reading through the entire manual but managed to figure it out as I went. I am amazed at the versatility and the wide range of features that this camera has. I am pleased with the camera and 2 lenses and the only thing I would have done different would to have purchased the camera with the 14-42 lens and then purchase a better/longer tele-zoom lens as the 70-150 zoom fell short on me while taking pictures of moose, elk, bighorn sheep and a Grizzly. The 14-42 worked wonderfully for the landscape shots. The camera size and weight is great for hiking - it is really not that small compared to other camera models. The image stabilization for a bighorn shep ram 200 hundreds yards away made the difference in a perfect picture.

This zoom exceeded my expectation. I tested it in a week-long trip to national parks in Arizona. It is compact and light, ideal for long hikes. Yet it is sharp enough for most purposes. Considering the price, it is a great buy.
