Cello Main Instrument Piece

I originally bought this to mic a cello as the available pickups were unsatisfactory. After a makeshift adaptation of the instrument clip we were getting a nice, rich, warm, full tone right away without even touching the EQ. We've been using this for frequent gigs--weddings, parties etc.--for about 4 or 5 years now and it's still working perfectly. This unit has served us so well at such a great price, I just bought 3 more from B&H to mic the string section of the jazz orchestra.

I bought this stand for my Luis & Clark carbon fiber cello. It is extremely well made, yet small and thus easy to carry when folded up. While it holds a regular cello well - a student uses it - it also fits my instrument well. The silicone rubber coating is thick and protects the instrument while providing plenty of friction to hold the instrument in place. Of course, the width can be adjusted to fit other instruments. I am very picky and couldn't be happier with this purchase. Additionally the price is incredible for the value you are getting. Last point: some stands come with a bow holder, but thus are not very portable. I have never had trouble finding space to hang or place a bow.

This is a great instrument for those who shoot film and video and need something lightweight, compact, and sturdy. At 300 watts, it's not bright enough to serve as main light for medium or wide shots, but can provide fill light for those shots and serve as your main light for close-ups. A really great value.

I own both SE215 and SE425. Does SE425 worth 2+ times the price of SE215? It depends. If you are looking for a piece of instrument that excites you by revealing every single details in techniques and emotions embedded in the diva's rendition, then you will find SE425 is that cutting edge gadget. If you feel reluctant to spend over $200 for just casual listening, SE215 is more than enough. To conclude, I recommend SE425 if you are a big fan of female singers (e.g. Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, etc.). SE425 is born for listening to divas.

These are a great softener for the cello and should come standard with each.

This little piece of hardware has come to make it so easier now to turn on multiple devices without reaching out to the back and sometimes accidentally disconnecting something. I have my main mixer, monitor speakers and some additional units plugged to it and I really like the convenience of having 2 USB charging ports on the front. Quality is really good and sturdy. I do recommend it for small home studios and keeping your budget on track. Folks from B&H were really helpful when I reached out to them with some questions prior to placing my order. Great service!
