Use these for cymbals, ac. guitar, violin... rich sounding instruments. Freq response is terrific & very versatile w/ 2 pad settings, 2 rolloff settings, & 2 patterns. I love having the shockmount clips as well.

It is very easy to use and it is very accurate. It turned my violin extremely well and easily.

These are a great softener for the cello and should come standard with each.

I am a musician (reed and keybaord player) and PortaBrace TLQ35 has recenly become my new gig bag (I bought a slightly used one here on B&H). It has replaced the Hercules BSB001 stand bag. The price for this bag is significantly higher than that of Hercules, but it also offers incomparable level of durability, protection, and capacity, at the dimensions similar to my old gig bag, 35 x 9 x 7 (there are longer versions available as well but 35 fit my bill perfectly well). As I said, I am a musician, and the PortaBrace products are not targeted at that market. It was my long-time interest in professional TV/ film and audio production and the related equipment has led me to notice the designated bags and accessories of outstanding quality which became an industry standard (mainly those by PortaBrace and Kata). Some of them proved to work really great for musician's needs. One example is that the PortaBrace memory foam suede strap that also comes with this case: it is the best strap for the tenor sax case or keyboard gig bag, period. Most of other straps are a pain, quite literally so. This bag is built really smart, it sports lots of outside and inside pockets, subway handles on both sides, inside velcro strap for one of the stands, the non-slipping outer bottom surface, the wide-opening mouth, even a mini-flashlight, and, as I said earlier, it is very capacious: I can throw there a Hercules or a K&M bass clarinet / bassoon stand + music stand (or two) + a mic stand + clarinet / flute / oboe stands or pegs and a few 25' mic cables. Or - I can put there a Bb clarinet case + flute + piccolo + stands + CDs / cards or whatever other stuff I need. Again, the case not cheap, but it's worth the money if you are a gigging on everyday basis.

We carry 4 chairs, 2 Roland speakers, 2 mic stands, mics, accessories, 4 Manhasset Voyager (full-sized) music stands, 2 portable 10 fans, multiple large music books, a bass clarinet w/case (about 35 x 10 x 8), regular clarinet w/case, and Eb clarinet w/case. It's a bit over 200 pounds worth of gear. We play in the NYC subways...use the elevators, and this cart not only steers and pushes with ease, but it fits perfectly on the elevators! The brilliant design of the front and rear tall handles allows us to 'lift' the front or rear to get over large bumps. Can't say that the breaks on the front wheels are very good, but they help to stabilize the unit when we're on a subway car - yes, it fits in there, too! All of that gear PLUS the cart fit into my Toyota Camry's trunk, too! So travelling is a breeze! I was using cheap luggage carts and have purchased several hand trucks, but nothing equals this. Since it's expandable, I could fit even more gear on it! So far we've used it at 3 gigs, and have had to travel multiple NYC blocks/avenues, as well as all over the subways. It's held up beautifully! And, it looks 'nice' when we're performing - we leave it open, but put it behind us to hide our empty cases, gear bags, etc. Best purchase for the group we have ever made!

This mic has proven to be a great purchase. I have used it for vocals, trumpet, bass clarinet, and percussion. It's versatility and overall great sound makes it my most often used mic. If I had the budget I would get two!

I bought this to complete a stereo pair to record chamber music and clarinet. This mic records sound very accurately, and is perfect for my use. Easy 5 stars and recommendation for the price.

I use this microphone for live performance of clarinet + live electronics. Finally I am able to be mobile and compact on the stage, not using two separate microphones (with so many holes sound source is practically everywhere in this kind of instrument). I hope this solution will also help to avoid feedback problems. Sound quality is great, but I am not expecting it to be 100% natural, since the lower microphone is pointing almost directly to the bell, getting very rich of low freqs sound. I think it will be best to combine it with wireless solution.
