I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH 5 |

Have had this camera for over a year. Love the fact that it's cellular and can view pictures from my home 5 |

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now. 5 |

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more. 5 |

I use this interface to send our church service audio over a conference line via cellular phone. Transmission is crystal clear!! Conference callers have been impressed by the clarity of the audio. Recommended product. 100% Satisfied. Would purchase again. 5 |

This thing never needs charging with the solar panel, and gets great cellular reception where our phone barely get any. Highly recommended this device 5 |

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality. 5 |

This combo of minitripod and clamp for cellular phone is a must for every traveller. Practical, versatile and secure. It also supports the weight of a DSLR camera. Highly reliable. 5 |

A couple of years ago, I bought my first, SpyPoint, cellular trail cam. Magic! I’m not alone in using trail cams as passive cottage security, rather than for hunting. (After 50+ years, I had my first break-in in 2016, and purchased a regular trail cam afterwards.) I own a small, remote island in northern Ontario, about 700km from my home. Obviously, it is inaccessible during winter (...you know...ice). It is also solar powered, and all cottage power is shut down in the off-season, and sometimes between visits. There is no wi-fi, of course. Standard security cameras, such as those blanketing my home, are useless, there. My first, SpyPoint cellular trail cam allowed me to see real-time activity at the island, and it changed the game. Instead of waiting to get to the island to view the SD card, I suddenly had daily peace of mind that everything was okay. I’m not super-concerned about trespassing, but rather a tree falling through the roof of the cottage, or that kind of thing. In 2020, when the dock broke-free of its winter moorings after we’d already closed-up for the season, camera 3 alerted me, and I made an emergency trip to fix the dock, mitigating potential greater damage if it had been left ‘til Spring. Before SpyPoint, every Spring, as I neared the island, my stomach would be in knots, wondering what I might find. Now I can SEE that everything is okay, from the comfort of my living room. I see the deer, and the ice-fishing folks traversing my island with their sleds, to get to their spot. Whatever. It’s all good. I recently purchased my fifth SpyPoint camera for the island, and am here to purchase one as a gift for my sister, who is retiring to her rural cottage. I can’t recommend SpyPoint cellular cameras enough. Economical. Convenient. Peace of mind. What’s not to love? 5 |

Fast and great build qualty. i love the feature that it can be powered externally. This really improves transfer rates with mechanical HDD drives. I also use is to an OTG cable connected to my USB3 android phone (Galaxy Note 3) to copy and paste data between USB drives. Transfer rates are about 15MB/sec is copying between usb ports directly and about double of that when copying directly to the phone. This is a great alternative for those who want to backup photos on he fly while travelling without having to hold a laptop or buying expensive gear like the Nexto. 5 |
