I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now.

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more.

This thing never needs charging with the solar panel, and gets great cellular reception where our phone barely get any. Highly recommended this device

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality.

This combo of minitripod and clamp for cellular phone is a must for every traveller. Practical, versatile and secure. It also supports the weight of a DSLR camera. Highly reliable.

Bought this because had good reviews. Has a low noise amplifier and had a USB for digitizing music, at a very reasonable cost. Have not used the USB yet, but the preamp works well, easy to set up, and very flexible controls. Obviously I cannot test it's specifications, but it sounds good through my receiver.

I bought this because I was getting tired of my audio cables frequently breaking. I am a musician, and I use this to connect my phone to an amplifier so that I can play backing tracks. This device is great! Especially the battery life. It lasts for a very long time before it needs to be recharged. It does have one drawback though. The volume is decreased significantly. It's not a big problem for me, so I gave it stars anyway, but it is definitely noticeable. Love this thing overall though, and definitely glad I bought it.
