Cellular Phone Antenna Design

My only problem with the cameras is the cellular signal we have where we live but with a buster antenna it works well

I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now.

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more.

This thing never needs charging with the solar panel, and gets great cellular reception where our phone barely get any. Highly recommended this device

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality.

I this antenna because it can be removed easily when not in use. Also it’s unique design is mounted next to the ditch lights is just right.

Purchased this set to use with run and gun style talking head videos outdoors. I was impressed with how small and light the mics and receiver are. I hadn't planned to use with my phone, but thanks to all the adaptors and how small they are they may see more use with my phone than my dslr. Interface is easy to use. Range seems adequate for anything I plan to use them for. Came already charged and haven't had to charge yet after a couple of uses. I like the built in mic, it's very handy just to clip the unit in a shirt pocket without having to use the lavs. Mic quality is great for speaking. Plenty of gain. Came with an impressive amount of adapters, which is appreciated. And the case is very nice. One note is the construction of the swiveling antenna feels cheap. The fit and finish on everything is great, except the antenna. I don't anticipate issues, we haven't had a need to actually raise the antenna yet. But I don't typically shot very far away.
