Cellular Phone Ftm

I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now.

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more.

This thing never needs charging with the solar panel, and gets great cellular reception where our phone barely get any. Highly recommended this device

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality.

This combo of minitripod and clamp for cellular phone is a must for every traveller. Practical, versatile and secure. It also supports the weight of a DSLR camera. Highly reliable.

Love this lens! Fantastic lens for indoors and walk-around. Very sharp wide open, and quick focus. The bokeh at f2 is very pleasing. Beyond that you have to be aware of the pentagonal aperture, but even then it doesn't look bad. The biggest hit on this lens is the lake of USM so it is a bit loud and there is no FTM. However, the focus is fast and it rarely hunts, so it isn't obnoxious under most circumstances. The AF switch is easy to feel and use, so switching to MF is quick. There is 180 degree travel on the focus ring so it is very accurate during MF. The MFD is around 9 and it works very well with extension tubes for macro work. On a crop camera I would look toward the Sigma 30mm as it has FTM autofocus and a circular aperture, but on a full frame camera, the 35 f2 is an awesome little lens, even if it is a bit long in the tooth.

I have tried 3 different cellular security cameras. Best by far in quality and service.
