Cellular Phone Terminology

I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH 5 |

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now. 5 |

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more. 5 |

I use this interface to send our church service audio over a conference line via cellular phone. Transmission is crystal clear!! Conference callers have been impressed by the clarity of the audio. Recommended product. 100% Satisfied. Would purchase again. 5 |

This thing never needs charging with the solar panel, and gets great cellular reception where our phone barely get any. Highly recommended this device 5 |

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality. 5 |

This combo of minitripod and clamp for cellular phone is a must for every traveller. Practical, versatile and secure. It also supports the weight of a DSLR camera. Highly reliable. 5 |

This was easy to set up. But I still hired a guy to help me as this involved a few issues and terminology that I was not familiar with. 5 |

Filter is not correct terminology but it serves none-the-less. Protects front element of my favorite Nikon lens. Doesn't seem to cause deterioration in photographs. 5 |

I am a complete amateur so my review comes from a less technical standpoint since I have so much to learn and I may not be using the right terminology so bare with me. I am using this with my D5000 and bought it to replace/complement my 55-200 lens. Since this lens is not technically meant for my DX camera I get less on the wide end and up to 4500mm on the zoom which is what I wanted anyhow. I have used it primarily for some beautiful winter scenery and kids snowmobile races. I'm pretty pleased with what I've seen so far. Any problems I've had are due to my lack of knowledge and need to read up on some things. It is very heavy, especially coupled with the SB900 flash I purchased as well, but that's not a complaint, just an expectation. In other reviews I read before purchasing it was mentioned that the hood rattles a little, which it does, but not so much that it's a problem. One thing I found amazing was how it brought things from over a half mile away right up behind the foreground of the picture. I took a double take when viewing the pics on my computer. Very happy with this purchase so far. But again, being an amateur I may not know enough to be too critical. 5 |
