Central Computer Reviews

The Mic is not the best out of the box. You must plug it into your computer, download Rode Central, and edit the settings. After that it is perfect. 5 |

I got this at below market value and it is absolutely worth it. it makes Grand Central look even bigger than it already is! 5 |

My friend ask me to buy this, nobody sell these in central Europe. 5 |

When I bought this I didn't see any reviews about flying so I am here for you if that's what you wanna do. This fit in the overhead compartment of several planes and the computer was fine every time (24, M1, 2021 iMac). I didn't run into any trouble with the airline, nobody even batted an eye. All the planes were larger commercial jets, except for one time when it went into the cargo hold of a seaplane. Was fine there too. I wouldn't check it on a regular flight, though. That would be risky...it's a soft case after all. If you want to make the computer extra secure you can get pool noodles and insulate it in the case that way...someone told me they did that but I didn't feel like I needed to. Overall I'm impressed -- this case works. 5 |

I read extensive reviews about these speakers for use by my iMac computer. So... I took a chance. When I opened the packaging they arrived in, I knew I was in for a treat. The way these were wrapped and packaged, it was clear that they were of premium quality. After connecting them to my computer, what a joy. I have a degree in music so I may be a bit more discriminating than some. They look great, too. The down side... It's too easy to spend even more time at my computer with the music I love. 5 |

If you want stability Gitzo is your best choice. The standard is the right height for me without the central column. 5 |

The reviews I had read were pretty convincing, but my old film scanner did such a nice job with 35mm slides and negatives that I wasn't sure this flatbed scanner would meet that standard of excellence. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could not only scan 35mm but also medium format images and obtain outstanding results. I do not have any 4x5 negatives so will save that for someone else to comment on. The negative reviews I read about the V850 Pro Scanner were primarily based on software issues. I found the installation of the Epson Scan software to be quite satisfactory although I do profess to having a background in computer technology and know how to handle an installation that does not, at first, appear to be working. (Sometimes you just need to restart the computer, sometimes you need to repeat the installation.) I have not used either the Silverfast software or the i1 calibration software because the Epson Scan software did everything I needed done. 5 |

This software was included free with my computer; it was easy to install and has had good reviews so I feel better knowing that it is keeping my machine secure. 5 |

I originally ordered a different camera that came defective and then I had to order this Kodak Pack. At the beginning I was skeptical about the product b/c of some reviews, but after using the camera(s) for a few events I noticed the reviews were somehow wrong or perhaps made by someone without video/photo experience. I don't know why so many complains about the software b/c it's really EASY to use (as long as you have minimum computer knowledge). The remote control works flawless and the image quality is way better than the previous model I had. Yes, I'm also using my Mac computer and Final Cut Pro to edit the videos for final production and the quality is even better after compilation, but the software that comes with this camera is also very good by itself! One thing I must point out: this camera can't take videos longer than 35minutes b/c the battery will get super hot and the camera will power off automatically. So, I had to adapt a USB portable fan to the tripod and now it can take videos for about 55 minutes. Also, make sure to order some 64GB or 128GB class 10 memory cards b/c each camera is a killer! It will generate insane amount of data when set to record in 4K. On the same token, you will need a decent HD to save all your videos and a powerful hardware spec on your PC to run the software flawless. If you are planing to use an old PC or Mac computer, think twice before purchasing. Anyways, for this price I got two cameras with very good overall quality and I'm definitely satisfied. This is a great product from Kodak. By with confidence from BHPhoto! These guys rock!!! 5 |

I normally have an aversion to connecting any computer gizmo through a third gizmo; this is just asking for trouble. But seeing the positive reviews for the Sonnet products I thought I would give this a try to save my RME pro audio HDSPe AIO cards $900 + investment, since I was purchasing a new Mac with no PCI slots. Bottom line: it was pretty much load, plug and play. The card was instantly recognized and works perfectly with Logic 10+ on High Sierra. I was also able to daisy-chain a USB-C SSD drive from the second port without interference or performance loss. There is a little bit of fan noise, always the bane of a studio owner, but less than many other devices here. 5 |
