I grew up in Manual Mode... with a light meter in one hand and Contessa 35 in the other. However, I have eased into automatic as I have moved into 'senior citizen' territory. I have also become a fan of in-camera zoom and not having 30 pounds of lenses to wag around. The Lumix DMC-ZS 100 is now my 'go-to' favorite camera. I have two other Panasonic zoom cameras, but the ZS 100 offers the crisp, great color saturation photos that I remember from my early days. The ZS 100 has plenty of options that eliminate bringing anything else but the camera on trips or shoots. I am an avid fan and recommend it to anyone; beginner or serious photographer.

Be warned, it's 100% manual... but if you can deal with that, you will be amazed at the performance of this little lens. I am a prime snob and have almost exclusively L glass. But the Canon 14mm 2.8 II cost is obscene. I read the reviews on the Rokinon, gave it a try and I'm seriously blown away. It's impressive.

This Lanc controller is 100% compatible with both the Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera and the Ursa Mini 4.6K. It controls Auto Iris, Manual Iris, Start/Stop Record and Manual Focus using the rocker. It is small enough to fit on a gimbal and tripod handle. Focusing using the rocker panel is very smooth. I'm glad I bought it.

Good manual flash. Light output is just a little shy of my 600ex-rt Good optical slave. Will see how it holds up over time as I shoot at 100% most of the time. I like that it gives warning beeps when bateries are about to expire. Just Completed two days of shooting with about 300 -100% flashes per day. Worked flawless. I have 6 days of shooting comming up. That will be a good test. If it holds up I will buy more. Jury is out in the construction. I have not dropped one yet.

I have been shooting film (and some slide) since the mid 1970's. Even though I have a Pentax K5 digital, I still shoot a lot of film. The reason is; I know what I can do with it for what I shoot. Landscapes, sunrise/sunsets, and architecture come out great. My film camera is all manual and the Ektar 100 is very close to what Kodak use to produce; Portra 160VC. Very similar color saturation for sunsets. You can over expose this film & get great sunset/sunrise colors or good snow shots. Since I cannot figure out the manual settings on my K5, & that I am very familiar with the film camera, I will continue to use the Ektar 100.

This electronic remote control is a must have for everyone. 100% better than a manual shutter release. Just point it at the camera and press. It's so small and light the only possible down side is it could get lost in your bag but the included case helps prevent that. A must have for every tripod shot.
