Change Audio Output Xbox One Wireless Headset

I bought a new laptop that only had the one audio/mic output and I had an older headset that had two separate connections. One for the mic and one for the headset. This splitter saved me from buying a whole new headset by separating the mic and the speaker into two separate connections. The sound was good and the users on the other end did not have any issues with the sound quality of the mic. Unit is small and compact and easily transportable wherever I go. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review. 5 |

Works perfectly! My son has a headset for gaming that has a 4-pin output and needs to split the audio from the mic. Thanks to the detailed description, we bought the correct part and it shipped sooner than promised. 5 |

Plug and play, just had to change the sound output on my TV setting to HDMI Arc and the wireless subwoofer and satellite speakers were easy to set up. 5 |

Pretty easy - just plug it in and change the audio output to USB inside preferencessound. Would be nice if input jacks were labeled speaker (green) and mic (pink). Oh well... 5 |

I was hesitated for this headset for quite a while. It is mostly due to the high price around 90+. B&H had it for $ and I had no second thought and grabbed it. The PC dongle works great as your audio device stay online whether you have the headset set to USB or not. This won't confuse the PC as applications tend to bind it to an audio device and get confused when you disconnect devices. Bind a bluetooth headset to PC and you know what I mean. I use the bluetooth mode for my cell phone only. Switching works flawlessly with a toggle on the headset. The boom mic also falls into one of my strict criteria as I found most of the wireless bluetooth headset without boom mic struggle to deliver clear voice. This one will not let anyone to notice you on wireless. I have it working with all my VOIP app, including my company Cisco VOIP app. 5 |

For years I had been using the older Sennheiser RS 120 wireless headset which operated in the 926-928 MHz frequency range. The performance was adequate, but the unit suffered from multipath cancellation (signal reduction due to the out of phase combination of multiple reflections). You will notice this when you move your head slightly, and there would be a sudden, and audible, change in signal amplitude or a short burst of background noise. As I had need for an addition system, I decided on the RS 175 as it seemed to have good reviews. I have not been disappointed. The RS 175 operates in the 2.4 GHz band with digital modulation. While 2.4 GHz systems are also subject to multipath propagation deterioration, I noticed none with this system, even with the headset taken outside onto the patio with the transmitter 40+ feet away. As typical with digital modulation systems, there was a threshold effect -- if the headset got out of range, the signal would abruptly disappear, quieting the audio -- in the past, you would simply be greeted with noise. In addition, I very much like the Bass Boost and Surround Sound options which can be quickly selected at the press of a button on the headset. The one negative for the headset is that you need to really take the headset off in order to figure out which button to press. I find this a rather minor inconvenience as I am not changing audio level, bass boost or surround sound options on the fly. In summary, Sennheiser did a superb job with this unit. The audio quality is excellent (I used an analog input -- an optical interface also exists for even better quality) and the annoying multipath effects so common with many wireless headsets are non-existent. 5 |

I own two headset microphones. I own a wireless Nady UHF headset and a Audio Technica ATM75. The Audio Technica is a lot better durability and reliability. The headset from Audio Technica stays on my head a lot better than the Nady wireless. The Audio Technica headset mic is made a lot better than the Nady wireless. The Audio Technica is made out of metal for the headset and the Nady is made out of plastic. I like the Audio Technica a lot better. 5 |

I needed this for the RODE Wireless GO 2 system (to output audio through USB and use the 1/8th jack to monitor the audio signal.) The price is high, but it's the only one I could find online. 5 |

this works great with my wireless lav receiver that combines 2 channels of audio into a stereo output. This cable isolates the two channels so I can record the channels separately into a recorder. 5 |

The NTG is a great hybrid mic. I'll attach it to the end of a boom and run into a Wireless Go II transmitter for an easy wireless boom that is quick and easy to move around. It's great not having to deal with a cord back to the camera or recorder. With the Wireless Go II's built in recorder I get nice clean audio that can be synced in post. I also use it for video calls. I run it into the line input of my Scarlett 8i6 and have the cleanest audio of anyone on the call. The internal battery lasts a long time and the rotary volume knob makes adding more gain very quick and easy. I have used the USB out, although it doesn't work well if you want to use headphones on a video call and still hear others because you have to monitor from the output on the mic so you'll hear yourself but not others. Therefore, using the analog output and a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter and going into the line input seems to work the best. If I was recording into my DAW though, I would use the USB output for the cleanest digital audio possible. 5 |
