I often use my modem on, a Windows 10 computer, to make phone calls, and need to hear the dial-up sounds - to make sure the call is going through, and there is no busy signal. I tried 2 other modems (Lenovo & Sewell) that didn't produce dial-up sounds. Based on the recommendation of a US Robotics tech support rep., I tried the US Robotics model USR5639. It does make dial-up sounds, and dials very fast. 5 |

Cheap, it works well and fast. The foldable US plug is a nice touch, along with European plug adapter. The USB port allowed me to recharge by portable charger while charging my camera's battery. Very happy to have purchased this item. 5 |

Easy to install and was recognized by Windows 10 right away. I would suggest going into the Command app and change the setting stereo to get it to work on editing apps. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced another HP with this because I had to change from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I had my previous HP for six years with no problems. The only thing I have noticed with this model is that there is more of a delay before printing begins. With the previous HP, it was almost instantaneous. 5 |
