Change User Privileges Quickbooks Online

Easy to change. User friendly.

My company recently implemented new security policies on our workstations which effectively removed all administrative privileges from our user accounts. To do anything that requires administrative privileges, even installing/updating software, we have to contact an admin to remote into our computers and enter their credentials. As an electrical engineer I have a lot of software that I use for various work related reasons. Finding this new policy as a hindrance on my ability to do my work efficiently, I decided to update my ~8 year old PC and do my work on my own equipment. Coming from a third generation i5 processor, the difference is night and day. I did find that the stock cooler was not cooling as well as I would like, even without overclocking. So I did upgrade to a larger and more efficient cooler and my idle temps are below 40C, and jump between 50C and 60C under heavy load. My previous setup was water cooled but it is a pain to setup and maintain so for now I'm just keeping it simple with air cooling. I would have spent a bit more and purchased a processor with a higher core count but I have heard that AMD will be coming out with a new processor series with the AM5 socket, so I didn't want to invest too highly on this AM4 processor. This processor was my middle ground and so far I am very happy with it!

I have recently bought a a600, and was a full out cannon user. The a600 is probably the best switch i have made. It is a change but is very useful and easy to get used to.

The features are almost mind-boggling. Performs two-sided scanning if needed, and the scan speed is the fastest I've ever encountered. Scan quality is excellent, even for color. The user-friendly software allows me to review each document or receipt before saving or exporting, so if I need to make adjustments I know right away. I use Quickbooks desktop version for accounting and had no trouble at all identifying fields and info I wanted to save and export. Should work equally well for Quickbooks online version. Being able to export as a "searchable PDF" is a big plus. It can also save documents as Word file or Excel spreadsheet data or even Powerpoint (Windows version). It even scans business cards. That's versatility not found in run-of-the-mill scanners. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but worth every penny if it saves time and frustration over manual recordkeeping and document retention. Setup was a breeze right out of the box and it has a very small footprint. It can be used either wired or wireless, with the ability to send scans to email or a smartphone. This thing does it all. I'm definitely impressed and will be recommending it to friends and family. My nephew is a farmer and my neighbor is a truck driver, and both professions require extensive recordkeeping. I'm sure that once they've tried this scanner the benefits will be obvious, especially to their wives who do all the accounting! A great choice for the blind old computer user on your list. You can even change the colors, man....

Our pastor uses this mic for sermons and other events in a large sanctuary. We also record the sermons for online distribution and the recordings are crisp and clear. Because the mic stays the same distance from the mouth no matter which way the user turns their head, there are never any more quiet or more loud moments (other than the user raising or lowering their voice). This helps to ensure excellent consistency. I would recommend this mic to just about anyone. The only down-side is that it takes a little longer to put on and take off than most clip-on lav mics.

I have never had an external HD before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I read the user manual online before starting (recommended but not entirely necessary.) I plugged in the usb cable and clicked on the icon and was ready to go. I have a MAC Mini and all I had to do was turn on time machine and it started the backup automatically. Barely bigger than a pack of cards it fits on top of my computer and looks nice too. I bought 2, one for the desktop and one for the macbook laptop that I use for different stuff. Great buy , lots of space and easy to use. It has its own diagnostics and security which I don't use but is easy to set up also. As always, B&H was wonderful to deal with and fast shipping. GREAT DEAL ALL AROUND!
