I have a pair of these same lights in 160ws and have decided to upgrade to get some additional power. This light fits the bill for that venture perfectly. I use this particular model as a background light and it slaves perfectly with my Angler 500ws monos. Controls are easy to use and there is plenty of adjustment range to suite nearly any situation youll encounter. Power is good and recharge time is quick. There are only two things that Id change if I were making this light; First, the beeps when adjusting power settings would have an option to make silent. Second, Id change the controls to dials instead of the push buttons. On my older 160ws monos, the push buttons are not super durable and have begun to fail. Otherwise - great value and reliability for the money.

I like the wireless cameras with the easy to change out battery pack. The 3 cell is much better than the 2 cell.

This is a nice product. Made in the USA, not much is now a days. It's a solid construction that is very high quality. The level of the caller can be adjusted with the pot which I did already use. I wish I could adjust the level for the headset mic. I really like that you can record one channel for yourself and one channel for the caller, that is great. There is some signal spill over from the caller to your audio channel (at a lower audio level) but I'm not sure if that is my phone. This unit comes with 2 audio cables, one for your phone (4 pin or TRRS) and one for your audio recorder (3 pin or TRS). I would recommend this phone tap to anyone and I would buy it again.
