I needed to get a replacement for my APC xs 1500. I bought it when I was living in Toronto, CA. There were many black outs during the summer months. So in 2010 I bought this unit. The battery started to go bad around 2016. I did not open the battery compartment until mid 2017. One of the batteries began to leak and swell up. White crust had compromised the casing. Had problems pulling the batteries out because they were expanding. I was going to do just a battery remove and replace after seeing the videos. Then I saw these direct OEM replacements here and B&H. Fast and secure shipping(as always from these folks.) Once I opened the box with the new batteries, swapped old for new. Works like day one. Thanks B&H!!!! 5 |
