[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first laser printer I've owned, and after struggling with annoyances with various inkjet models this printer is a delightful change. Setup was super easy - packing was very well done and easy to quickly get out and plugged in. Wireless setup was also very easy. The menu system is a little odd however, settings are tucked under oddly labeled "custom" tabs, so you have to hunt and peck to find settings, but there was very little to do after getting it on my wireless network. Drivers are new so for mac it found it as a MF460 (not exact match), and oddly enough didn't seem to change after installing the download package from Canon. I'm sure this will be fixable if I dig back into it. However I had no problems printing right away. Print quality is very good, and the speed is such a nice change from inkjet - it's very fast. We mostly need black and white and it's crazy fast. Scanner also works very well, but cannot talk to the fax capabilities - I mean who faxes anymore? Overall happy with the printer for what it is - inexpensive, efficient, fast laster black and white all in one. 5 |

I use the wireless remote for my 7D on a tripod. The receiver is secured nicely to the flash shoe. The remote transmitter on a lanyard (to which I affixed a small carabiner) hooked to a belt loop is kept available for when focusing and framing is done. It works flawlessly. Great purchase at great price. 5 |
