Changing Windows Computer Mac Address

My new Mac Studio computer required the up grade. It is like giving up my right arm changing my old pal for this new version. However is new tablet rocks. I love the fingerprint IDENTIFICATION to activate the new Mac . Excellent product! Hopefully will last as well as long as the old one did. 5 |

This product worked without additional software needed on a Mac with the latest OS software installed, and on a Windows 11 computer with all of the latest updates applied. It works with both my USB A Mac adapter, the USB C connectors on my Mac, and on the USB A connections on my Windows computer. I am able to utilize an older synthesizer that I can now move around the home with ease and connect it to whichever device I need to (even my iPhone apparently). 5 |

As many of the other reviewers of this product mention, I too went to search for a driver. After wasting time doing that, I realized that when I restarted my computer, it just magically recognized the device and when I inserted a DVD, or CD, I was able to burn them to my computer. It seems to work on my Windows 7 and Mac operating systems just fine. I have a MacBook Pro without a built-in CD/DVD drive, so this works nicely. I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 (mac) and Windows 7 in Parallels and have been able to burn discs nicely. I would advise forgetting about the usual driver headache that we come to expect when we get new devices and if your computer does not recognize/"see" the device in Finder (mac) or Explorer (windows) when you first plug it in, try a restart and try to plug it in and start playing with it! Sometimes we like to complicate things that do not ask to be complicated...at least that was my experience. 5 |

I switch between a Window 7, Windows XP, and Mac computer with no problems. Once I turned off the mouse emulation I was able to use MS Sidewinder. No problems with wired or wireless keyboard/mouse. 5 |

so far so good. works on any computer i've tried, mac or windows. Very quiet, portable, and well built. I don't see it being an issue, but wish the usb cable was not proprietary. but, i will just leave the one end always plugged in to the drive so as not to cause it wear. seems fast enough for my use. 5 |

My first NEW computer since 1991. My last new computer was an Apple Mac Quadra 840AV. I built my own Windows machines in the 90’s and 2000’s. Bought used Mac’s off eBay after that. 2007 and 2012 MacBooks. This is an incredible computer. I highly recommend it. Fantastic keyboard. Love it! 5 |
