Character Constructions Paper Dolls

I use this fine paper for printing out my own sellable paper dolls and it is beautiful and durable, and I feel very good about putting my best out into the world.... Starting with the right paper.

The texture of this paper is terrific — not quite matte, but still has more character than traditionally glossy photo paper. 8x10 is easier to frame than the more common letter sized photo paper which requires cutting down. Great cost per sheet and good weight. Overall, this is one of my favorite papers for use with a Canon PRO-100. Haven't noticed an issue with fading though I don't keep prints in direct sunlight for days.

Nothing else has the same character as this paper. It's my absolute favorite. It does have a little texture, so some granular details might not show, but it sure is beautiful. Tones well. Great weight. Kind of liths too, though I'm still working out the kinks myself.

I use this paper for all my documentary people work which is all black and white. It really brings out the character and texture of my subjects. Deep blacks in a warm semi gloss paper.

The teenage engineering choir dolls are 'living' art. In my case, the woodworking is more valuable than the electronics. Sure, they'll harmonize if you have multiple, but the 24 songs get old pretty quickly. For me, they're great display pieces - not unlike the Vitra Eames house bird. I have four of them, and that's probably enough. I wish teenage engineering would release a couple new songs every so often. Maybe they can put an intern on it each summer!

I use this filter to diminish the intensity of 2 Elinchrom 500 while photographing my wife's 21 dolls in our home made studio, thus shooting at f 8 instead of f16 in order to further blur the background paper. The main difficulty when using manual focusing and live view at full aperture is to remember to close down both filter and lens. Old age, I presume... The advantage of this 77mm is to be able to use it with many macro lenses of different diameters such as 67, 60, 55, given of course the appropriate down rings. I

This is my first Pelican case, and I was impressed with the solid and sturdy constructions and thick metal hinge pins holding the handle, clasps, and hinge of the case together. It closes solidly and the catches are quick and easily to open. The pick and pluck foam was easy to set up, and I was able to fit a surprising amount of items in this case. I set it up with a rechargeable silica gel packet, and it works well keeping my bodies and lenses dry when traveling with it.

I liked the lens as soon as it came out of the box. The constructions was very sturdy. The image quality was very clean. Plus, I got the lens for only $ for some reason. A great deal. This will be my main walk around lens. Also the delivery was very fast and reliable even though I accidentally gave them the wrong postal code.B and H is going to be my main source for video and photo equipment from now on. Guaranteed.
