Charge Macbook From 12V Battery

I just replaced my 2008 era MacBook battery with a NuPower replacement battery. Right out of the box the before fully discharging the new battery it indicated 65% charge level. This battery is lithium-Ion 54 watt hour, better that the original 45 watt hr unit. Easy old battery out new battery in. Initial charge cycle requires you to fully discharge the new batter before charging. The only drawback was it too so long to discharge the new battery before charging fully. B&H pricing for this battery was less than anyone I could find and shipping was free & on-time!

This is such a great little battery. USB C means I can charge it with my MacBook charger in the hotel room or I can use the battery to charge my MacBook/iPad/phone etc. when on location. Takes the brick battery concept and makes it even more versatile.

Our Macbook Air was won back on November 30, 2012 per television promotion. Approximately around February 10th 2017 the unit was not holding a charge for too long, The battery indicator would read replace soon. After researching the subject we came across B&H and found the Nu Power battery. What we liked most about the Nu Power were the instructional videos, reviews ,and the tools needed were provided in the box. The installation was straight forward and the laptop turned on immediately. The battery now lasts over 4 hours on a full charge and no battery indicator reading replace soon. This worked for a Macbook Air '11 model # A1465 (Mid 2012)

Nice Charger for the price, I purchased mainly for the ability to charge from 12v DC. Works as advertised A+++.

A lot of thought went into these chargers. I love the supplied 12V adapter - and the built in USB charge port is smart as well. My only beef is the same as has been noted by others - the battery can fall out occasionally at times. Perhaps a velcro strap needs to be added to the design?

Perfect for the right occasions!!! Let's first talk about the mounting option accessories that ship with it so you can configure it to mount to cameras, providing various solutions. That's sooo smart. The build... DTap and other sources are well placed and can be used for multitudes of equipment. Crazy. The battery lasts a. Long. Long. Time!! I used it for more than it's "intended" purpose on a music video shoot. I rigged a 7" 12v monitor (DTap), powered a follow focus knob (5V), a wireless HD video receiver (12v), and .... something else. Effortless. The team loved the rig!!... you could see the gears in their minds spinning with possibilities !!!!!! Think outside of the box with this unit. Each item also had a battery attached for backup power IN CASE the handle dropped out at anytime. At that point, it could still be a handle. It lasted the ENTIRE duration of my needs... easy 6 hours without depleting. It's chunky even in a large hand, so be mindful of fatigue if rigged onto a heavy system. I first used it on a caged BMD 6K and it flowed easily for 3.5 hours. It powered the camera, and a 7" monitor for what I recall to be the entire live event (intermittent use, but powered up 85% of the time) Have a great time with the unit!!! it should be 12v dc for power.

It just works. Pop an Anton Bauer battery on, Plug in to a 12v DC equipment. With less work these days for our BetaSP camera, we wanted to be able to get more use out the battery system we bought for it. Now we can power LED lights or our LCD field monitor for days.

Using this cable attached to aSmallRig DV 12v Battery Plate usingNP-F970 and my A7S powers all day on a single battery. The camera will show the power going down however when you turn the camera off and then back on the percentage will go back up.
