Charger For Olympus Waterproof Camera

Charged without any problem in Olympus charger, powers olympus camera just as did original. Can't yet speak to longevity, but so far it's great. Service from B&H was great, as usual.

I use this to hold my waterproof Olympus Tough TG-2 while kayaking. Everybody who sees it marvels at the uncomplicated and easy to use design, which allows solid hands-free filming but also drops the camera face down at pull of a tab to turn video on/off, check images, or frame a still, zoom, etc. I tell them it is just as great as it looks. Feels totally comfortable and secure, fits smoothly overtop of my life jacket with good range of adjustment, gives me needed access with no fuss detaching from screw mount to hand camera to others. My one suggestion for improvement: make screw mount bolt from stainless, rustproof materials. Very hard to clean out all water after a day of action, and grease or oil don't mix with my camera or other apparel. Overall I would say this rig beats GoPro hands down, and others who see me using it agree. (I did try GoPro system first, sent it back). This one is a keeper!

I wanted a simple, nice-looking, responsive, waterproof bag for carrying just a camera with a lens attached. There needed to be room for a spare SD card, battery and lens cloth. In my case the camera and lens in question is an Olympus OM-5 (they are all the same size) and Olympus 12-40mm f2.8. This fits perfectly with room for pretty much nothing else - and that's what I had in mind. I'm not sure Think Tank is still making these but they are good.

I bought a Filson waterproof bag so I could take my Olympus camera with me in the canoe. I needed to add padding to the bag to protect the gear; and give it a fitted resting place. The foam insert for a Pelican 1400 waterproof box fit perfectly and did the job.

I recently had a kayak race in mid-Missouri and wanted to take my waterproof Olympus camera, I charged the battery overnight and tried it the next day. Only to find that the battery wouldn't hold a charge! This model (850SW) has been replaced by newer models so the battery isn't one that you can go to a big box store and pick one up (although those stores did carry take model at one time). My camera (Olympus Tg-2) only allows charging through the camera, so this is a great back up charger!

Great for travel since it takes up much less space than the Olympus corded charger that comes with the camera.

I misplaced the charger cable for my Olympus camera. B&H had replacement in stock and price was reasonable.

It works very well for charging the extra battery outside the camera. (An Olympus). Otherwise, we would have to use the charger built into the camera, which would be very inconvenient, etc.

I used this charger to charge the battery for my Olympus 8010 camera. When a depleted battery is placed in the charger, a red light goes on. When fully charged, a green light goes on. This charger will not overcharge the battery but bring it to a full charge, so leaving it in when the green light is on fully tops off the battery charge. The battery seems to have a longer charge as a result. I really like this battery chaarger.
