This charger is much better than the previous one (also not Canon) and is it's easy to recharge Sony batteries for camera.

It works well with my camera and video camera.It also uses my old sony batteries L.It didnt come with a wall charger.

Best replacement for my old sony charger

I purchased this charger to go along with my Sony A7 camera, which regretfully does not include a separate charger (only in-camera charging via USB). The Sony-branded charger is both much more expensive than this Watson model and less featured. This Watson charger supports and includes a 12V car adapter as well as a USB port for simultaneously charging a USB device. So, for example, I can charge two NP-FW50 batteries simultaneously, one in the charger and one in the camera via USB. Or, I can charge one NP-FW50 battery and my iPhone simultaneously, only using one AC outlet, which is especially convenient when traveling. My first unit was partially defective in that it could not simultaneously charge my iPhone 4S and an NP-FW50 batterythat combination repeatedly triggered some sort of overload reset. But Watson's customer service responded that it should be able to do that and got me a free replacement quickly, which no longer has that problem. Another aspect of versatility is that the battery interface plate can be replaced, allowing potential use with other battery types, although I haven't exercised that feature.

I am using this for my Sony FS700. This is a well padded and roomy bag. It fits my camera, 2 lenses, batteries, charger, viewfinder tube, tools and even my chest stabilizer with room to spare.

I purchased this charger along with the Watson NP-FW50 Battery for my Sony a6000 camera (also a recent purchase). The battery charged quicky to 100% and provided an opportunity to continue shooting with the camera with another battery. Sony is not notorious for good battery life but I haven't used this battery enough to opine on that point. I am very happy with this purchase at a good price point.

This quality charger adds to the versatility of my Sony RX10 IV kit by making it possible to charge my backup battery outside the camera. It is quite small and fits conveniently inside the camera case, allowing me to forgo the whole charging cable mess.

I usually like to use products that are supposed to be used together by the same company to get the best performance. I have Sony camera batteries, so I wanted a Sony camera battery charger. And it doesn’t disappoint. I’ve had this for years now, and it still works like a charm.
