Charging Macbook Pro 14 With Usb C

I bought a 2021 MacBook Pro. The 14 variety. Love that it brought back the HDMI, MagSafe and SD slot but I was still looking for a solution for all my USB connections. In my home office I have a label printer, printer, web cam, and document scanner that all use regular USB connections. This device makes it super easy to just have a single connection connect to everything. I haven't utilized the display function yet but plan to test in the near future. I'm currently rocking a 49 curved Samsung display so I'm hoping the TS3 can handle it. I'm basically using it as a glorified USB hub right now. and I can confirm it works great for that. My cable management is way better now. I only wish the 14 MBP would take power via the USB-C connection so I could get rid of another cord.

Love this thing and works great with my 14" M1 MacBook Pro. It gets pretty hot sometimes.

Replaces two separate apple devices, and does not require 14 hours of USB charging the keyboard battery. Set-up was easy for a 73-y.o., suffering with brain fog from Long COVID. I used the Logibolt dongle rather than play around with bluetooth. Once you learn the different positions for “Alt”, “cmd”, etc, the keyboard works fine. The wrist rest also makes arthritic hands work better than apple.
