Terrific camera. Great optics and zoom, long battery life (I film soccer games and can confidently film a full length game without making a dent in the battery life).

Using this while shooting soccer games. One of the problems was I always killed a battery while reviewing images during half time and generally had to keep a battery in my pocket (didn't like carrying a bag up and down the sidelines). I Have mess around a little with the side ways features and it is nice to be able to hold camera secure and use the shutter button on the battery pack and change focus points.

I just purchased and took it on a photo trip to Charleston, SC for four days.  Once set up it was rock solid. I used it in all types of conditions (forest, beach, pier, street, etc.) and it was a breeze to operate and control. The controls on the included head were very intuitive and easy to manipulate. The quick release is much easier to use than my previous Acra release on my Gitzo. It is still early in my use of this tripod but so far I am very satisfied. Great bang for the bucks.

Last week we had shoot adjacent to the Charleston Harbor and these Windjammers really cut out the wind noise for us on a very breezy day.

Just wow. Loved the NiSi filter! Was shooting in Charleston where there were SO MANY city lights of various colors and temperatures, a wonderful bridge that had LED lights... the NiSi filter helped to sort it all out and clean it up to create this beautiful shot!! Definitely will be keeping it in my bag!

On a recent trip to Charleston SC I experienced some very high humidity that caused some dust to stick to the sensor of my D700 and adhere to it where normal cleaning (Cameras cleaning system or Arctic Butterfly) would not clear it. I purchased the VisibleDust Sensor Clean and Sensor Swabs Type 3 and a few drops of solution and one sweep from each side of the swab did the trick perfectly. This saved me from shipping the camera to service paying at least $50.00 and doing without for 3 weeks. Before I did this I thought this stuff was overprice now I realize it's money well spent.

I recently was covering a parade in Charleston SC and was on a park bench. As I stepped down I caught my foot and broke it. Fell on my back and shattered my 28-300mm. But both cameras had no scratches. I am sure that without the easyCover on the Nikon D4 cameras there would have been scratches and more damage. So thrilled with the covers. Wish I had them available when I first bought the cameras.
