Charter Spectrum Wifi Router Access Firewall

I have been super excited since purchasing new router. So much faster and more reliable than my charter WiFi

We bought this unit to go into a very shallow data closet, where we needed a firewall, WiFi access point, and a PoE switch with decent port density. This fulfilled all our requirements and then some. A bit expensive for what it is but the client loves it and we were happy with how easy it was to integrate. The LCD panel on the front of the unit is also very informative!

Fantastic wifi router, with a very sophisticated firewall built in, and pro level networking configuration capabilities. Provides an easy entry to the Unifi system - probably an overkill if you don't need multiple access points or fine-grained control over your network. But if you do, it's a great solution.

Great router, access point, repeater, etc.. with Wifi 7 router on the way, this is still a contender.

Great switch from the standard router you would rent from Spectrum. Was having issues connecting 2.4ghz devices to the basic router from them. Bought this and didn’t realize how slow my WIFI was with their router. With the AX4200 my wifi speed is amazing, videos stream better than ever, gaming is much easier and I can now connect my Roomba to my wifi. No complaints so far! Their NETGEAR app also has a ton of features, albeit many that I might not use. However, it is nice to have those options! Thank you!

If you're looking for a reliable router to replace the heavily locked down WiFi 6 router Spectrum provided, then look no further than the Netgear Nighthawk RAX43. I was replacing a 15 year old Netgear Firewall Router which had capped my broadband throughput at only 60MBps. With this router installed, I'm getting the full 200+ MBps that I'm paying for to my ISP. The setup is a bit complicated if you're not used to fiddling with router settings. There is a wizard with some non-intuitive presets to help with setup as there are many different options for how the router functions. I'm giving it 5 stars because of the speed, and the relatively low cost.

This is a sleek router with a beautiful interface and overall great functionality. I researched quite a bit to find a router which would cover my home and minimize, hopefully get rid of dead spots. This is a solid solution if hard wiring access points in a home is not viable. While you mayhave a small impact on speed/latency, it is relatively unnoticeable. IF you are able to use hard wire connections, then Ubiquiti access points or other whole home wifi systems may be worth looking into. However, this provides such a simple, clear, and easy solution that hardwiring can be avoided. The system comes with 3 items - 1 router and 2 mesh points. Placing the router centered in the home, and a mesh point on each end allows for maximum coverage over a larger area. I can now get Wifi all over my front and back yard, to the neighbors next door and across the street. You can even add additional mesh points down the road if necessary, or even another Amplifi router. Highly recommendif you are searching for a whole home wifi solution. *Note you will need available outlets in a good location, to plug in the mesh points, as they stay plugged in the wall.

Setup was really easy using my existing wifi router, and this single access point is covering the top two floors of my house (3,200 sqft). Very impressive product!
