One of the best (some would say the best...) microphone in the business, particularly for vocals and lower sound level instruments (acoustic guitar, flute, etc...). Extremely sensitive, very low noise. Picks up the tiniest detail. The switchable polar pattern, integrated low cut filter and 10 dB attenuation pad means you can use them for anything in any situation, couple of switches and you are done. Just did a simultaneous recording with my Schoeps on a flute and these sounded even better, if that was at all possible. More velvet and refinment in the mid tones. You could immediately tell why they are unsurpassed on voice. If you can afford it and don't mind how large they are, this is the quintessential studio mic you need in your arsenal.

Mike is working on phantom power. It sounds great and the flute kit is working good.

I was upgrading from a small cheap pair of speakers, and looking for something that had some solid bass without sounding boxy. The AugioEngine's are fantastic. They sound great, full of bass and very clear and crisp. Powerful too. Very happy with them. My set up is somewhat odd. A Mac going to a Denon receiver view NuForce DAC. Turntable into the same receiver. Using the RECORD OUT from the Denon to go into the AudioEngines. Works fine, thought it makes me laugh that when i'm listening to audio from the Mac I have about 5 different places to adjust the volume! The sub-woofer might be a nice addition, but so far I don't see really needing it.

I was searching for cheap 2.1 speakers that could do the job. Those ones defenilly do! The bass doesn't sound cheap, and the volume is enought for playing or listening music. For a small room is enough for sure.

I'm a guitarist that needed a cheap bass to lay down some tracks. Since I got this thing I've been obsessed with playing bass! It has a great feel and was quite playable right out of the box. It's capable of a surprisingly wide array of tones, which is nice as I use it for a many different styles of music. The stacked knobs took me a minute to figure out but once I did it makes perfect sense. Easy to get the sound I'm looking for quickly. Overall thrilled with this purchase. If my enthusiasm for bass continues I'm sure I'll invest in a pro level instrument, but for now this is perfect. Kinda shocked how much bass you can get for so little $$$.

I wanted a inexpensive bass a that was versatile, sounded great and had a sharp look. So I looked around at basses in the same price range and could not find one that had better reviews or had more to offer than this bass. I knew Ibanez makes excellent guitars all around, even the cheaper ones. I bought it without putting my hands on it and hoped for the best. I am very glad I did. It looks great right out of the box and had a really solid feel. Nothing about it looks or feels cheap. I was impressed. It has an excellent feel and plays great. Anyone who has played a lot of guitars will tell you this is the most important thing. It's gotta be fun to play and this bass is. My fingers move without effort over the frets and my palm moves smoothly up and down the neck. Great action and a tight response from the strings by finger or pick. Plus it stays in tune longer than any bass I've ever owned. The sound is very versatile. I can take it from very clean jazz style to heavy, dirty rock stuff with just my playing style. When I really exploit the active pick-ups it really expands the sound pallet. I really can get any tone for any style I want very easily. I think anyone who wants a excellent bass for a cheap price should look no further.

I’ve been wanting a way to attach a condenser microphone to my flute for years, and this little device fits the bill perfectly. Perfect for nominally acoustic settings where the sax and clarinet are present enough without amplification, but the flute requires just a bit to be heard above the rhythm section, if you already own a small condenser mike as I did, this is ideal. I have used several different mics to mic a flute in a loud band and the leakage from the drums usually competes with the flute. With the i2, that is over for me. Our flute player was a few feet from the drum kit and was barely picking up drums. The caridod is the way to go. The tonal quality is outstanding. It comes with a cork lined clip but it still picks up the valve noise in between songs if your musician is fiddling with them. It is very noticeable. While playing, I had no problem getting plenty of gain out of the flute. Used with ULXD1 beltpack. I am very happy with this mic.
