I was hesitant due to the price, but I guess you get what you pay for. Bought a cheap $20 suspension off Amazon and it did basically nothing, I could hear every focus pull. Just rigged this up and nothing, almost complete silence when it comes to handling noise. Wish I’d have bought it sooner. 5 |

I am using this for “moto-vlogging” for my motorcycle YouTube channel and the sound is amazing as compared to running it straight into the GoPro with its media mod. So far I have not tested the microphone it comes with as I have a Rode Lavalier Go already attached to my helmet. My akrapovic exhaust is very loud on my Yamaha MT07, so with the gain set to low and using the backup track feature set to -12dB it captures clean audio without clipping which is essential for rides I cannot redo. Combine this with 24 bit audio and there’s enough leeway to EQ wind noise as well. The backup safety track kind of negates the need for 32 bit float for my particular scenario which saved me the extra money over the DR-10L Pro. Great product from Tascam. 5 |

I recently assembled a YouTube/vlogging set-up based off of Caleb from DSLR Video Shooter's all-on-one-stand video. This rolling Impact stand is at the core of this build. I couldn't be happier with it. The wheels allow the stand to roll like an Ikea shopping cart. It is sturdy enough to handle the weight of all the attached equipment. I would highly advise, regardless of your use for it, that you pick up or utilize sandbags. While the wheels do lock, additional weight at the base aids in preventing any tip-overs while in motion. 5 |
