Simple and solid, I personaly go with the without foam cases as the foam that is includide is not closed cell, then buy a cheap blue sleeping mat from a big box store and outfit the case to fit me camera needs.

In order to use my old iPhone 5c with the Rode Micro microphone, this cable was necessary. I adapted it to my iPhone 7 lightning port as a test and it didn't work. I didn't investigate because the plan was to use the mic with the old phone anyway, so it might have worked and could have been my set up.

I saw this style of cell phone protection in the Captain America only for the IPhone 8 and 8 plus if I remember correctly and was disappointed that Otterbox representatives told me that they had no plans of bringing this out for my IPhone X. I have purchased the LKB5C before. It is perfect for what I want to use it for. It's identical to the 4C I'm reviewing here, only 2 shorter in width and 5 (ish) in height compared to the 5C. I have always put my cell phones in protective cases so I’ve used many different types over the years. The Peak Design phone case fits so perfectly and feels good in the hand. The case has a slight texture to it so that it doesn’t easily slide out of my hand. And the new magnetic connection works seamlessly with the car mount and tripod mount for easily moving the phone between activities without having to remove the case. Outstanding case!
