Cheap way to hold cheap things for reflecting light.

Not only is this a great price but the camera is supper light and small, and the lenses are astonishingly sharp. I say this as an owner of a D850 and a Z7 and numerous pro lenses. Admittedly the lenses are a little slow with maximum a aperture of f3.5 resulting in greater depth of field where you may want a softer background. I found I could get around that by using the 50-250. The sensor is an updated version of the one in the D500. Having owned a D500, I found the improvements significant. Higher ISO performance is better in the Z50. Not that the D500's was bad, I thought it was very good. The fact that the sensor isn't 24MP doesn't bother me at all. All I care about is the quality of the output and this sensor is excellent. The only negative I have is neither lens comes with a lens hood. had I known that, I would have ordered them along with the camera. This is a great travel camera and a capable backup if I need one.

I'm using this lens mainly for astro photography. And for that, I know no better lens for the price and quality. If the photos turn out bad, it is most likely that I missed out on something. This is a full mechanical, lens, without any computerized aid. Aperture, manual, Focus, manual. But astro photography is a manual mode think, anyway. The APS-C (Crop sensor) cameras usually labeled as useless for astro photography, due to the small size of the sensor. I beg to differ. If the lens is fast enough, (lets in enough light), then it is doable. This 12mm lens goes all the way to 2.0 F stops, which is plenty of light, even for a crop sensor. If you are on a budget, but would like to get into astro photography, then this is your lens.

This is a solidly made dry bag at a very reasonable price, and it's a fairly comfortable carry as well. I customized mine with a layer of foam on the bottom -- easy and cheap. I'm much more comfortable having my gear in this than in a water-resistant camera pack when I'm out on the water.
