Cheap Digital Camera Japan

I had this with me just about every day on a long trip across japan. Fits in my cheap camera bag with about 8 of interior space. Fold the head down and curve the legs and you can easily fit in almost any bag. It's possible to snap the orbs off too, if you really need to shorten it. I don't know if you're supposed to do that often though. You can put them back into their sockets easily enough. Quick release plate is solid, although it does tend to get a bit loose on my camera even after tightening it down hard. Ball head works great, but you may have to give it a good jerk after loosening the knob. Seems to like to stay in place, which I'd prefer over a flimsy thing.

This is a made-in-Japan filter that protects the front lens element from incidents. Cheap insurance, and this multi-coated version doesn't add any noticeable flare.

Super cheap way to protect your lens. Digital camera sensors are not as easily, if at all, bothered by UV light. The filter fit perfectly on my Nikkor lens.

While it's arguable whether or not you need a UV filter on a digital camera this is cheap protection for your lens. For less than $ you add a layer of protection to your lens from scratches, dirt, etc. Well worth it in my book.

I use it as a back up for my digital camera.

Seems like a relatively straightforward thing, but I searched through all the camera shops in Japan and this wasn't available. Thankfully there's B&H.
