Cheap Dslr Digital Camera

This is my first DSLR, having shot film since 1980, and so far, I really like this camera. Since I have nearly zero experience with digital photography, the learning curve has been very steep for me, but as I gain some time and experience with it, I am finding that it just works as it should. I have collected lot of Nikon glass over the years, and this camera can use it all, even my pre-AI 300mm F4.5 telephoto lens. which mounts just fine. The price and availability of color films is what finally made me decide to try digital. Had Kodak Ektar 100 not more than doubled in price, I would still be happily shooting color film and avoiding digital altogether. I still shoot black and white film, and will continue to do so as long as it is available for sale. But for color, the Nikon D780 will be my main camera. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, and I'm happy that there are still DSLR cameras available for sale. I'm not very excited about mirrorless cameras. I guess I'm just getting old.

This is my first DSLR - officially going digital after being a darkroom junkie for 15 years. I use it to shoot a lot of landscape and architecture and candid shots. Outdoors mostly. As opposed to the Nikon or Canon that are in the same field, this camera has water lock which will help me keep it safe in all the strange conditions into which i trapse. Not so great is the high iso quality. Coming from a film background i can not tolerate a pixelated look - so low light and hgh iso are not the best friends to me. But i can use my pentax lenses in this one or on my film camera so i still have the option to shoot in those settings with film.

I'm really happy with the quality of images using vintage lenses with a digital camera. I love being able to use my FD lenses with my DSLR. It functions smoothly and helps me keep my equipment minimal.

Bought this cable to go from my Nikon D4 DSLR camera and the off-camera digital recorder. So far it works perfectly and seems to provide good strain relief. It's a nice short length so it doesn't get in the way of anything!

I've been into digital photography for 7 years and just made the jump to a Pentax Kx DSLR. It is a great camera at a great price. It is easy to use and takes great pictures.

Love everything about this camera. From a traditional DSLR user I was not expecting to like this so much, the hardest thing to get used to is the digital viewfinder, but after some use I realize it is more useful. This camera packs a punch and is versatile as well. A few adapters and I'm using lenses from my old 35mm cameras that haven't seen use in years. Overall great experience

Same great camera, even with a mirror but still one of the best digital DSLR's ever produced. Same great price from B&H and same great super, fast expedited shipping to your door with great packaging. What's not to like? Great job, well done!

So far in my tests I have found the quality of pictures to be impeccable. The built in stabilization is a game changer. I upgraded from an older DSLR the digital viewfinder of a mirrorless camera is something I never knew I would enjoy this much. I can see exactly what my picture will look like before even taking the picture. Switching from DSLR to Mirrorless feels like using an entirely different class of camera almost from switching from a film camera to a digital camera.

This is my first Digital SLR and I think it's a great camera. I wanted something over 10MP for a DSLR and this fit the bill. The value and features are great and B&H has the best price for this kit anywhere!

This is my first DSLR camera and love it! We have a new born little girl and our other small digital camera just takes to long. Also have an older 35mm Canon AE-1 but must have a DSLR. With the 300mm zoom lens you won't miss a thing. Fast shutter and able to take 4-5 frames per second, love the camera. It takes excellent pictures even in the auto point and shoot mode! Can't wait to actually be able to use the camera to it's full abilities!
