I do come from many years of view camera experience but this lens is not hard to get the hang of. Increase depth of focus... Yep. Selective focus... No problem. No you can't do tilt and shift on the same plane but as stated by others you can get it on the same plane by sending it to Nikon. It WOULD be nice to have independent rotating tilt and shift like the Schneider but that lens is not perfect either and lots more$$. Not a macro for one. You are not going to have all the movements of a technical camera but if you want that get a technical camera and all the needed goodies to go with it. $$$$. This WILL make your product and food shots better and easier. My only problem is understanding why I took so long to get a tilt shift lens! It also seems to focus closer than the literature states. If you make your money shooting products and food find a way to get this lens! Very happy I got the 85mm first for mostly food photography but 45mm is next. 5 |

It's obviously a cheap imitation of the Go Pro. But it stands over all the other cheap Chinese cameras for a decent image quality and few controls permitting to tailor the images to your need.Of course you need a LOT of light and a steady lighting (if you move from sun to shade you'll get unpleasant change of aperture) since the camera is really weak when you start to shoot in dim or no light. But at $ price that B&H had for a while, it was worth to have it.Not a pro camera but with some ideas and time (and a good editing program) you can get a decent result out of it.Now I need to see how long it will last!!! I bought just 2 weeks ago...The battery is a joke and I got 4 more... 5 |

Was using a cheap lavaliere I picked up at a $5 store to do my YouTube videos. (When you're a missionary you try to do things as inexpensively as possible.) It actually did okay for inside work, but I do some outside videos as well since I live very near the Gulf of Mexico. I will also be doing them on Guam and in the Philippines, so I truly needed a good wireless solution. And I needed the ability to interview someone else and for that to be an easy process. I knew that the Rode Wireless GO II would be the perfect solution, but pricey. So, I told my wife I would start saving just for them, but a check arrived the next day from a church where I had preached a couple weeks before, and it was for almost what this would cost, so I ordered them. Extremely happy with the purchase. Have already used the safety channel since, for some reason, the recording into my iPhone on one video was not great due to the wind. The safety channel recording had almost zero noise. Saved having to reshoot it. I have a Rode Lavalier GO arriving today, and I'm even more hyped about that! 5 |
