This tripod is great and a very healthy alternative to the much more expensive brands. Here's why... Straight out of the box my first impression was that this tripod looks and preforms extremely professionally. A lot of lower end tripos looks and feel cheap but this one looks sharp and has a nice black finish to it. The head performs very well and manages my FX3 and BMPCC6KPro with no issues when I have them fully rigged out on the tripod. This tripod is a bit on the heavy side which is to be expected for a stage/video tripod that mostly made out of metal. The two things that I love most about the tripod are the stepped counter balance and the rubber feet. The stepped counter balance has a click that you can feel and is audible which is great because it makes adjusting the tilt and pan quick and easy. I know that rubber feet often come standard on this type of tripod, but these seem to be slightly larger than other rubber feet I've used and also have an excellent grip. Something else that's worth mentioning is that the look of this tripod is sleek. Even though the price of this tripod is EXTREMELY affordable It doesn't look like a cheap tripod. I'm a fan of this tripod. I wouldn't recommend traveling with it because of the weight and the size, but otherwise it's definitely 5 stars. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

I was looking for a freestanding VESA stand for our new EIZO ColorEdge 27 4K display. The EIZO panel is fantastic, but the supplied base is plasticky and the round shape of the base did not go well with our desk theme. We searched online and did not find too many options that interested us. Among all the items listed this one - Gabor Mainmast DMS-200 - looked the most promising. Happy to say that it exceeded expectations right at the time of unboxing. Packaged well with all tools and accessories supplied, with clear instructions. The build quality is a noticeable improvement over the stock EIZO base... an optimal combination of metal and plastic with metal being the dominant material. The design is sleek and the height adjustment lever is a clever design. Does not wobble much during adjustment of tilt angle. Rotation is smooth along both axes. I like the fact the they restricted the left to right rotation within certain angles... that makes sure you will not accidentally hit the wall if the monitor is placed close to a wall (like ours is). The cable organizer hole is neat and as you can see in the photo - extremely effective at hiding all cables. At first we thought it would be better to not have the logo and make/model printed on the base, but we found it is tastefully done and we do not mind it much. They may still want to consider making it a removable sticker like auto decals. Overall, very impressed and totally happy with the purchase. A high-end panel like EIZO deserves a base like this.

I bought this to go with my Next Level Racing Flight Simulator Pro setup. It replaced the NLR Freestanding Single Monitor Stand I started with but didn't fit the Flight Simulator Pro (THANKS B&H for your great return policy). This one straddles the stand just fine. Compared to the $100 cheaper Freestanding one, this is infinitely adjustable for height, and even includes a spirit level you can mount on the crossbar. Do watch the assembly video from NLR, as there are some key differences between it and the included manual (the video is more accurate). Also, be careful to note the different ways this stand can be used (1/3/4) monitors so you get the right number of tee nuts in the right grooves. This is very sturdy and while I have a mere 35 curved widescreen monitor hanging from it, it feels like it could handle much more weight easily. One thing to note is that for smaller monitors with a 100x100 VESA mount pattern, you may well want to go find some 5x15 mm fender washers (I found a 4 pack at Lowes) so the monitor mount screws fit better than through a stack of progressively wider washers.

Using this background predominantly for portrait work. It is easy to set up. You should hang this if possible rather than freestanding as it tends to curve a bit. It has velcro straps all around so I hang it from a Savage background holder and secure top and sides to ensure a sturdy and straight setup. Easy to collapse and carry in the bag that comes with it.
