Cheap Gaming Laptop With Disc Drive

Needed to get some old programs (on disc) loaded and my new zen laptop has no disc drive. This did the job. Looks good, thin and most important it works well. Also got a 10.00 rebate.

I had purchased several cheap readers off Amazon and none of them worked. I had an issue with the drive not popping up on my new Mac laptop. I simply plugged this in and worked perfectly!

Installed this as the master drive in a new entry level MSI gaming laptop that came with a 256MB M.2 SSD . I'm 60 years old and by no means a gamer. My games are flight simulators. And, being an old geek I prefer to see a hard drive in a box so to speak. The original M.2 drive is still in the laptop as a filing cabinet for my less used junk but I am very happy with the performance of this Crucial drive!

This is a very good gaming laptop. Everything worked out of the box. I added a second m.2 drive and the installation was a breeze with the help of a couple of youtube videos. I'd highly recommend this Laptop.
