Unlike the cheap ND-10 filters, the B+W does not have any color cast. This is a precision German product, and priced accordingly. I use it to slow down water movement, and also to de-register crowds of people. A typical sunny exposure is 30 seconds at f/11 with a D810 set to L03 sensitivity. I use it in conjunction with the more pricey B+W step-up rings for a perfect fit between threads. IMO, B+W is worth the extra cost for these two uses. 5 |
