Cheap Mechanical Keyboard And Mouse

Yes they are pricey, but after many less expensive combos, I should of spent the extra money a long time ago. You get what you pay for. Outside of my mechanical keyboard that I use for gaming, this is easily the best keyboard I've owned. And, it's better for work than my mechanical keyboard. Everyone is different and has varying expectations, but I know 4 other coworkers who have recently purchased this and they also love it. I like having the 10-key but it does make it a much longer keyboard which could be an issue when carrying it around all the time. The mouse is the same, best wireless mouse I've used. Some of the features I didn't think I'd use or need, I can't imagine not having them now. The free spinning vertical scroll wheel option is amazing to me. The right and left clicks feel very good and responsive. The horizontal scroll wheel is a bit different. It feels a little tight but I've noticed that actually works better for me. The Logitech software allows you to set up and change some options on both keyboard and mouse so I would check that out as well. While it was a significant amount of money to lay out, I'm completely satisfied with the purchase and wish I would of bought it sooner.

I have been struggling with 3 mechanical switch boxes to bounce between my two dual monitor Macs. The video switches, after a few weeks, began to fail. The contacts became faulty and the monitors displayed incorrect colors or incorrect luma. I had to manipulate the switch to get a near decent image. Now remember I had to use a USB switch for my keyboard and mouse. Same story. The connections were intermittent causing erratic performance. The Iogear Dual View 2 port KVM (GCS1742) exceeded my expectations. The installation procedure was well documented and went without a hitch. The switch comes with all of the cables necessary. Both of my computer now communicate with both monitors, my keyboard and mouse, my audio out and audio in, seamlessly using a fraction of the desk real estate of my previous setup. When all is said and done this switch performs flawlessly and has greatly simplified the cabling needed to achieve the dual monitor, keyboard, speaker and microphone connection to two computers. I am quite pleased to find a product that efficiently does what it claims to do.

My job has me working from home, and in 6 different offices, some days I can't guarantee which location I'll be the following day. I finally was fed up with just dealing with whatever dusty, used mouse & keyboard might be available in whatever office I was in and bit the bullet to get a good set I could take with me anywhere for consistency. (I did buy a separate rigid clamshell case for the keyboard & mouse to keep from damaging them in my backpack) I've enjoyed using mechanical keyboards for years, from an IBM mechanical keyboard in the late 80s-90s, and a few with Cherry MX Blue switches for my PC since 2010. I hate standard laptop keys and membrane keyboards. The MX Mechanical is a joy to type on and the shortcut keys are a welcome addition (dedicated calculator app button especially). The MX Master 3S is extremely comfortable to use, and the horizontal scroll wheel is convenient since I'm in excel & Google spreadsheets for most of the day. The fact that these are both wireless and share the same USB receiver has made my setup/packup less stressful, no longer fumbling with wires and multiple usb plugs. The USB receiver stays in my laptop and I just flick the on/off switch for the Keyboard and Mouse at the start/end of my work day.

I tried to go cheap and bought a Chinese knockoff keyboard and mouse. Then I saw this go on sale and quickly ordered. Night and day different in feel on both. The keyboard is super quiet and very responsive. The fact that it's solar is awesome and it doesn't actually even need that much light to stay charged. The mouse is super comfortable in the hand and has convenient front/back buttons for browsing. Highly recommend this combo!

Great option for mounting monitor, keyboard and mouse tray to the wall. All you need to add is a cheap monitor wall mount and add this between the monitor and the wall mount. I bought this to replace a cheap slide out keyboard tray that came with my HONS desk. something I should have done years ago. Fairly easy to install, but some sort of paper template of the actual size would have been helpful in the placement of the tray for installation since the tray has an asymmetrical mount due to the mouse tray being mounted on the left or right. Construction is top notch. Fits a Microsoft Sculpt Comfort (ergonomic) Keyboard with ease. The wrist rests are optional. My only complaint is the mouse tray is a little bouncy since it is so far off of center in relation to the mount. Overall, a good value for the money.

As a pilot, it’s great to have something to practice on. I can’t use a keyboard and mouse so this is the perfect alternative. It’s cheap, high quality and features a sleek design. 5/5.
