I learned a lesson by spending 30 dollars for a card that had 2 USB C and 3 USB A ports from amazon.com .... All SORTS of problems. This card from B&H has just 2 USB C ports but IT WORKS and it works at the advertised speed. Not one headache. Well worth the price.

I have always been told not to waist a few dollars on cheap knock off batteries.... For years I purchased Canon replacements. After watching Ken Rockwell's YouTube video, I was sold on the LP-E6NH. No problems with the four batteries that I purchased in March '21.

I've gone through 3 of those budget cheap mic boom scissor arms and each one has disappointed me to some degree. I use an AT4040 mic and it is HEAVY, none of those mic stands were able to support the mic to the degree I wanted stably, and I ended up going through 60 dollars worth of them trying to find a single decent one. I could've saved myself the time and headache by buying this one first! This stand is fantastic, the base has a much larger surface area so it won't slide around or hurt your desk, as well as give the arm a decent swivel for moving the mic around. It's so good I can push the mic and it'll swing into place smoothly and quietly without me pushing it. the length is great as well and I'm able to position it any way I desire. The silent function of this stand is incredibly important for livestreaming as well. If you want a stand that WORKS and works WELL, this is definitely worth the 100 dollars and is a MUST HAVE for anyone that appreciates something that actually works.

Cheap, no. Worth the extra dollars, yes. Will be adding a VT2-3 base for places where the soil is soft.
