I own a recording studio. These are MY go to headphones. The clients always want to use MY headphones rather than the stock (cheap) ones I have available because they say they're more comfortable AND sound better. I have the cheap ones 'cause clients always drop/break/step on them..... I should charge more and GIVE them a pair of HD280's when the session is done! 5 |

The PodcastHelper (twitter name) referred this to me after I wanted to find a cheap and nice upgrade to my current headset recording setup for podcast segments I record. My goals were simple. I wanted something cheap, provide noticeably better recording, and easy to setup. This provided all three. I paid much less than what I was expecting to pay for. Setting up was a cinch on my mac mini. All I needed to do was plug it in. Go to the system properties and change the mic to the AT2020 and I was good to go. After a few recordings I was able to confirm that the normal buzzing from my cheaper solution was gone and I was ready to record. Additionally setup was easy to add a pop filter and placing this on a boom stand. Great product, great price, and easy setup. 5 |
