Cheap Server Build

Fast network cable, great build quality as well. I use it for my server and have one for tethered shooting as well.

Added to a Mac Pro to build a server as a replacement for aging G4 servers.

This is a cheap way for me to augment server storage for data which is seldom-accessed but needs to be available 24-7. I bought a couple and copied one to the other for redundancy. I've been using WD external drives for years and they are dependable and a decent value considering how much storage capacity they deliver. I have yet to see one crash or malfunction.

I have used these headphones for over a decade. This pair is hanging next to my media server for use when I'm working locally on the server. I had a cheap set that I used to just give me a hint what was in the media, but I decided to buy a quality pair of headphones and treat myself. The bundled sheepskin ear pads will go on my older set. I hung the carrying case on the wall next to the server to protect the headphones when I'm not using them.

Got this for a cheap server with weak PS that couldn't handle a 2 rotating backup drive via USB. Now it has 3 drives connected with not problem. Power for the drives is supplied by the hub.

Very cheap but has great build quality. I am going to have to get more someday.

I bought this case to house older PC components for use as a home server. it's very easy to build in, six 3.5 Drive bays out of the box. The modularity of the case makes cable management and organization very easy. Instruction booklet is easy to understand and has examples for all use cases. I'm a fan, would recommend. Thanks!

I bought this case for use as a home server and it works extremely well. It was easy to build in, has lots of room for disk expansion, and runs very quietly. It was a perfect selection for me.

I used this to build a linux firewall server. The old server that I had was destroyed by a lightning strike. So far, the new system is doing the job.

I have been using this drive to build my media server. It is extremely fast and made short work of my fairly extensive DVD and Blu-Ray collection. The drive is also compatible with common DVD and Blu-Ray reading software. Absolutely recommend this drive!
