I picked this up to replace a cheap (~$30) arm that I've been using for the last year or two. This thing is WAY better. It's so smooth, it feels heavy duty, it doesn't creak or bind, and I can move it with the microphone in use and it doesn't destroy the audio quality. I'm using a Blue Yeti microphone with the proper mount and pop filter on it, it's amazing. Great cable management, too!

Yeah, so the construction is a bit cheap. The light, however, performs great! Way more light than I thought I would get out of such an inexpensive unit. When it's time for me to get a second light, I will probably get the exact same thing again.

It's waterproof, the top is clear so you can see what's inside, and it's relatively cheap. I use it to carry both rechargeable AA batters with the charger, as well as to keep an expensive lavalier microphone safe and sound. I love these things. I have about 6 of them and they always come in handy.
