Cheapest Gaming Keyboards Brown Switches

The Cherry MX Brown switches are not noisy and have the right amount of tactile feeling. The build quality of this keyboard is solid and heavy. Mechanical keyboards have the keys higher than normal keyboards and some of the brands include a palm rest in the box. Das Keyboards do not come with it. I purchased a polyurethane palm rest to get the right height. I'd be happy if they included something in the box for raising your palm, other than that it is a great keyboard! 5 |

CM Quickfire Rapid is the ten keyless mechanical keyboard I could find that worked with Mac out of the box. All multimedia keys work with Mac. A lot of mechanical keyboards I researched had some sort of issue with Mac or required some software to be installed. The CM Quickfire rapid works right out of the box. The most you would have to do is update your modifier keys in OSX and switch your key caps for option/command. I own two of these keyboards now, one with blue and one with brown cherry mx keys. I used the blue version for over a year and wanted to get a quieter version for use at work. I tried adding o-rings to the blue keyboard and it greatly reduced the sound by preventing the keys from bottoming out. The main problem I had with this solution was that the click of the blue key switches is still very audible and the o-rings decreased the travel of the keys. Making it feel too short in my opinion. The brown key switch version is much quieter since there's no audible click. To prevent bottoming out, I removed the o-rings I put in the blue version and put them in the brown. Making the brown even quieter than it already was. Perfect for an office environment shared with other coworkers. The brown key switches are nice if you like the the blue keys, but need to do without the audible click. The brown keys have a noticeable bump when you press down on them. Cons: Lack of backlit keys. I don't have a need for the backlit keys, but would be a nice to have. All of the other ten keyless with backlit keys were about double the price of this one. No USB hub. While not needed, would be nice if it also had a USB hub like some of the other mechanical keyboards I researched. 5 |

I chose the K845 mechanical with brown switches because I wanted an illuminated mechanical keyboard that wasn't overly loud and clicky. The switches are relatively quiet but produce a satisfying click, one that I desired over a mushy key. The illuminated keys are excellent as I prefer a lower light environment to work in. The keys are set up high off the board itself allowing anything that may fall onto the keyboard to simply slide off and not get lodged. The K845 is a wired system which I bought specifically. I don't wish to spend additional money just to have to replace batteries or worry about charging a keyboard. The wired connection works for me and I don't need anything else. For the price, I don't think there is a better mechanical keyboard. 5 |

Good mechanical keyboard, not to noisy. I like MX Brown Switches. I am from Canada. Very quick delivery from B&H and free shipping. Far better than Amazon. Very convenient USB plug on the back of the keyboard. Good quality. Highly recommended. 5 |

This is the best keyboard that your money can buy. Better than the Falchion because it is larger, the keys are more comfortable and spread apart better. It lights up beautifully, looks great, and it made of heavy duty metallic casing. I love the pink and black color combination matched with the AURA synch: it looks AMAZING! I got this on a whim, and I was going to hook it up to my other computer, but when I plugged it in and started using it, I immediately realized that this is a way better keyboard even than the wireless Falchion. I would recommend this keyboard over any of the other keyboards out there. Great response time, Wired for speed, and very comfortable and easy to use keys. I got the 'red' key press level: make sure you try a red, blue or brown style switches. I prefer the red (which is linear) for speed and comfort, but some people prefer the blue for clickyness, or the brown tactile switches. 5 |

This keyboard is the ultimate typing experience compared to any other keyboard Ive tried. I had a cheap keyboard with brown switches, cause I thought the blues would be too loud for my office. However, the brown switches barely had any tactile feedback, they were actually worse than some silicone dome keyboards from Gearhead. So I got this keyboard and my office coworkers actually prefer this sound, it is rather clicky, but is missing the clunky sound of bottoming out, which was a problem with the cheap keyboard. One problem though; the USB hub doesnt work on the one I got. If I plug something in the hub, it says theres insufficient power and it doesnt mount the device. I contacted customer support and they got me to do a firmware update, but that didnt solve the problem. They told me I can request an exchange through B&H, but I didnt want to do without it for that long, so I just dont use the hub, which I probably wouldnt have anyway. 5 |

The Das Keyboard 4 Pro (Cherry MX Brown switches) is a sheer pleasure to work with. The weight of the keyboard keeps it stable on the desk, and the feel of the keys is satisfying. The keyboard is far from silent, but that is the nature of mechanical keyboards, and the sound is not outrageously loud. The tactile nature of click-click-click of the volume knob is just fun. 5 |
