Check Storage On Sony Camera

If you've got a recent Sony camera that has a smart hot-shoe (check the list...mine was on it), this adapter works great with the Sony Digital Receiver(s) to transmit audio directly without need for another wire. Super cool for gimbal work.

The Sony A7RivA was exactly what I needed to accomplish my specific needs. Most of our photos are taken in concert type settings with haze, but then out in a brightly lit lobby area. We also shoot a ton of sports with a handful of portraits. This camera handles everything we throw at it. We have had it for a while now and it just performs flawlessly. Pros: Handles low light well, form factor, stabilization, megapixels for days, the Sony grain, 10fps, great AF, battery life Cons: Screen only tilts (old problem and not a deal killer for me), some of my personal Pros will be cons for some, such as file size, grain, and so on. With the file size comes the need for faster more expensive SDs and a robust storage system. If you don't have adequate storage options then you may want to look at a different camera. But I am loving the images that I have captured with this camera.

Im using this case with my Sony mirrorless camera, a6300, three lenses (16-70, 70-200, and 12mm), and one flash. Plus some miscellaneous accessories. Im storing my 70-200mm lens and flash attachment in the outer storage pocket which leaves no room for other non-photo stuff I want to carry. But Im not usually carrying everything in any given situation, so I usually land up with extra storage.

Very functional and versatile storage. I'm using it for my Sony, second camera with 70-200 lens . Love it. Everything from Shimoda is well thought. And quality is top notch.

Purchased this card for our Sony FX6 camera. Allows for all the frame rates/speeds. Having a Sony card gives confidence in recording and storage. The card has a rugged outer case and fits perfectly into the camera slot and the Sony card reader. The 160GB size seems like a good trade-off between cost and storage capacity.

Bought this for a Sony EX1r and am glad I did. This is a big case with plenty of storage space that is well laid out. This case provides plenty of options for organizing your gear and provides good protection for the camera. Even has padded bags for small parts that also cushions the camera when installed as well as a long pouch for a mike that velcros to the inside of the bag. It even includes a large white balance card with lanyard. Appears to be of very high quality and made right here in the good old USA.

I'm upgrading from 2x160GB to 2x640GB. Performance-wise, it's basically the same cards, with 4x the storage. I've tried shooting 8k and some photos and they're crazy fast. I don't do sports photography, so I have no feedback on how it'll perform for your high frame-rate needs. I mainly picked these up for peace of mind when shooting 8k video. It has so much storage that when you format the card on the Sony A1, you can actually see the progress graph for a few seconds. It feels strange walking around with such pricey memory cards adding to the existing price of the camera+lens, but they're super reliable and durable. For my usage with dual 640GB cards in the camera, I don't see a need to carry spares anymore. I don't really use the Sony reader while traveling to save weight and instead I plug the camera directly into my MacBook for accessing the card contents.

Now if you would just send the new Sony A7Siii and the CF express card so I could check it all out!

At first, it takes time to check at the storage. But whenever it shipped, it's fast. Try out on my Mac and the result tells the truth. Very satisfied.
