Check System Files Mac

This was purchased to back up four internal discs on a Mac Pro. Drive 0 - System for just what you'd expect. Drive 1 - CR2 files as well as DNG conversions. Drive 2 - PSD's, TIFF's, and possible PDF's. Drive 3 - JPEG. Drive 4, in the Mobius, collects the chad which accumulates in my work area.It took a while to copy all the photo files; the System files are still in progress. So far, the Mobius has worked well. Since it's been working for only a couple of weeks, durability and reliability are still to be demonstrated. A general rule in electronics is that if an item makes it past 100 hours, it will last forever.There are three coding switches on the back panel so you may select which RAID you like. I use JBOD so the Mobius drives correlate with the Mac drives with a spare for the odds and ends that just seem to come from nowhere.There was one time-consuming dismay. I removed drives from the various enclosures scattered about the work area and inserted them in the Mobius. None were recognized! ALL (Mobius) disks had to be reformatted while in their new home, then loaded with files, images, some of them, back into the mid-50's. The smaller drives are 1T, so you can guess that there were a few days in the transfer. Maybe I should growl at Mobius, but they're not responsible for my files, so I give them 5 stars anyway.
