Children Of The Atom Stand Up Arcade Machine

I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. I use this for portraits of my children. I love that it is such a smooth look. I do not like that I need help putting in on my background stand because of the bulk and weight, but I know there's not really a way around that.

I use this stand to connect to a custom made posing table for small children. It is very easy to change the height quickly to adjust to each child individually.

I should have bought more! I wanted to try one to see what it was about and I'm extremely impressed. This is the one light stand to rule them all. Seriously, it has the build quality of a tank. Every knob and adjustment take effort and once it's locked down, it's not going anywhere. Heavy duty is an understatement. If you aren't strong you won't be able to move this once a light is mounted. I used this stand to take Christmas pictures of the children in my daughter's pre-school class. It was easy to assemble and position. Although not impossible to set up on your own, it goes up faster with an extra set of hands. The construction was excellent. I was concerned at first that the lightweight design would result in tipping but was please to see that even with rambunctious pre-schoolers that it was steady and never once seemed wobbly or likely to fall over. The travel case provides ease of transport and the stand is reasonable in weight. I loved how easily it adjusts for the environment that I was in.

This is my first light stand and so far I love it. As a newborn photographer I most love that it drops all the way to the floor. Because I have small children running around my lights I will add sandbags to the base, but if I only photographed adults I don't think it would be necessary. I'm overall very pleased with my purchase.
