I originally bought a cheap Chinese knockoff for a fraction of the cost, Needless to say, when I had my computer wide open and ready to screw the SSD into the optical bay drive bracket, I found the cheap component to be worthless. I ordered this OWC product, after their super drive external converter worked perfectly, paid for rushed shipping and solved the problem within a minute.The moral, don't buy knockoffs of specialty items. 5 |
