Choose Solo Instrument Band In A Box
Simon Cox | 2024-05-27 03:39:22 |
If anyone in your band wants more me control of their in-ear foldback for both their vocals and an instrument (or two instruments), then this is THE box for them! Ok so it costs more than the 2 channel competition, but this has the essential 3rd channel the others lack, plus an integral stereo DI box, so the total cost is much the same. What is really nice is the way it can be set for mono or stereo inputs on both the instrument channel and the main foldback. The cct diagram even contains instructions to convert the mic channel for line level inputs. A really useful box, and a much better buy in real terms than the competing products, for use by real musicians! 5 |

I use a mic stand with a boom for performing folk/country music with a band and solo. I have used many cheap stands in the past, and there are always issues with them. This stand and boom are very high quality and appear to be built to last. The boom is the perfect size and telescopes in to a very short length for transport. So far, I have not seen anything negative about this boom. 5 |

I first thought it might be too small, but it works well even with my thick wrists. The sports band is fine, but I also got the braided solo loop from the apple store as a second option (I like the fit better, but we'll see how I feel after a sweaty workout) 5 |

Wow, this works really well. I bought it for the band at our church. Makes it very easy for someone who plays an instrument and sings to have a decent in-ear monitor without spending a fortune. Very solid all-metal construction. Setup and use are very simple; the diagrams & labels silk-screened onto the top make it easy to see what should plug in where. As a nice additional touch, it doubles as a direct box for the instrument input. I highly recommend the optional MSC106 mic stand adapter if you're using this on stage. Only drawback is that you need a long cable or an extension for your ear monitor / headphones. If you mount this on a mic or music stand, you don't have a lot of room to move. We'll be buying a mix of these and the 1-channel PM50s to move our whole band to in-ear monitors. 5 |

We use a snake combining vocal mic, instrument mics, D.I.s, and monitor cables for each band member, running to their area of the stage from the stage digital mixer, and this product makes it easy to customize those changes and change out cables when necessary. 5 |

Another quality moog instrument. The choice of voices adds to the fun and the capability to choose scale, root note and amount of pitch correction makes it playable out of the box, and allows the player to hone their technique without frustration. Internal speaker makes it fun and available to play without much set up. It could have been housed in a simple box, but instead it is in a spaceship housing that is theremin appropriate. I ordered mine in the winter after seeing reviews from NAMM, and it's been worth the wait. 5 |

The audio quality of ATH-M50x headphones exceeds my expectations. I use them for monitoring myself while playing accordion and sax. They give adequate isolation from the instrument so that I can hear very well through the microphone (with its volume turned down) placed in front of the instrument, and know what the audience would hear. They are not heavy and hold my head comfortably. I'd recommend them to a friend. In addition, B&H had an open box item that was in same as new, unopened box, so I was able to get them at a discount. And as advertised, they were same as new. 5 |
