Choosing A Laptop Computer 2017

I was a little concerned about choosing the i5 quad core processor over the i7 that I had in my previous HP computer as I utilize a few adobe programs at a time. So far, I have no complaints with the overall speed, and can't really tell a difference. The screen is also smaller than my last which I was worried would be an issue but I honestly love the portability of this computer!  The Touch Bar is actually way cooler than I ever expected it to be, I think Mac has done a poor job of promoting its capability. And the integration with my iPhone is really awesome. They work together seamlessly and made setup a breeze as it sent a lot of data over to my computer. I was a little disappointed that it took longer to ship out than originally advertised especially since I chose to buy through B&H specifically because they had the earliest arrival date. I ultimately lost out on an entire day of work which cost me additional money, but considering the current climate, I understand and prefer to support local business over large chains. I've only had great experiences with B&H thus far. I just hope in the end this laptop outlasts my previous (also very expensive) laptop. Only time will tell.

I just doubled the RAM in my iMac 2017 and my computer is running so much better. I wish I would have changed out sooner!

I was very pleased with the help and flexibility with choosing the laptop and in delaying purchase and shipping of laptop as I was going away, while still honoring excellent sale price. Tge laptop is what I expected except that I was surprised it did not have a USB C port, just regular USB ports. I had not asked for one, and it isn't critical as I have a adapter that works fine.

I investigated every external DVD drive BH stocks before choosing one to supplement my new laptop with no internal drive. I opted for the ASUS over a smaller lighter unit powered by the computer bus because I run other peripherals and wanted the security of an external power source. So far it is blazing fast and solid as a rock on my desk. No problem installing. Looking forward to years of utility. Have not yet tried playing or writing to Blu-ray so withholding that fifth star but I have no reservations about choosing this drive.

It is very useful and I am getting use to it. It's different from the laptop computer. But I like it. Thanks.

I bought my television in 2017 so I think it is a smart tv but I couldn't get HBO Max on it even though I could get it on my computer. Then I ordered BRIT Box and couldn't get that either. NOW I have Roku and I can get everything - Love it!

Years ago I bought a canon prosumer camera from B&H. In November 2017 I had buy another Apple computer. All the plugs changed and were incompatible with cable on my camera. I spoke with a technician at B&H who guided me on what to get. Even showed me pictures and a link to the site.

Purchased in May 2017 to clone a failing IDE drive in a legacy computer w windows XP. Setup was simple. Made the clone w/o incident using free software from easeus. Replaced the failing drive with the clone. Works perfectly. Even a novice can do this.

installed into the 2 empty slots of my 27 5K iMac (Mid 2017) and fired up the computer. 16GB DIMMs are alternating with stock 4GB DIMMs that shipped with the iMac. POST completed without issue and the computer has been running 24/7 for the past week.
