Very good buy. It has Android OS (not some bad Wrapper over it) and it is super fast.

It's amazing how many ports this thing has! After searching for so long for a good Chrome OS dock I think I've found the best one. PROs: - Detachable USB-C host cable. Makes it easier to set it up and longer lasting. - 3 video outputs make it really futureproof. - Firmware upgrades that require no 3rd party software and can be done with Chrome OS. CONs: -The power output is enough for most Chromebooks and Chromeboxes but it may lack power to drive and charge other devices.

I bought this so I could use my Sony A6000 as my webcam. What can I say? It works great (on Chrome OS and on Windows 10). I have not used other, similar solutions, but definitely recommend this one.

Be careful not to use Password option if using on multiplatform OS IOS and Android don't recognize the disk at the moment if you use Password option.

First thing first. I love this little player that came to replace my trusty but aging Onkyo DP-S1. The hardware is good. I like the decision to use Android as an OS; that adds a lot of flexibility to what you can do with the player. I won't list all the great features and rather concentrate on the shortcomings. Because of the OS, it takes some time for the player to start. Like an aged Android phone, which attests to the speed of the CPU. Once started, it's all good. Starting/stopping, especially stopping track can be laggy. Battery life is on the shorter side. I would say 3-4 hours, although I never really timed it. Some decisions on playlist creation and track shuffling are questionable, but it's a matter of taste and habit. The biggest deal for many is that, unlike the international/Japanese version, the US version of the player has a gain limiter. For that matter, I've ordered a Japanese version for almost the same price. Overall, this player is well worth the price. I am not so sure that would be the case with its older cousin.

Android OS will work if the OS is 5.0 or above. It will require an app. The company Samson suggests using opencamera as an app. as it supports video with audio and includes the drivers to work with Android

After my 2'nd Samsung Tablet (in 5 years) broke, I decided to give Apple a try. This is my first apple product. I've always been a windows (pc) and Android ( tablet/phone) user, so when I needed a new tablet, I figured I'd give apple a try. $329.00 is cheap to try the apple eco system.... IOS seems a bit more restrictive than Android (maybe that's a learning curve ?)... but, so far, I am very impressed. From a user interface/usability standpoint, it is much more enjoyable to use than my Samsung (Android) tablet, albeit the Samsung was 3 years old. Very seemless integration with my Microsoft One Drive Cloud storage/MS office products. Got the apple pencil as well.... Why not ! I'll probably always stay with Windows OS for a pc, but may take a bite of the apple when I get a new pbone...
