Chromecast On Samsung Desktop Monitor No Volume

Needed to connect desktop to monitor. Size just right. No negatives.

Easy to install. Easy to use. Ive had it for about two weeks now and so far so good. I do wish that chromecast would allow me to cast my entire desktop rather than just the chrome window. Overall, I like it!

Bought to connect Dell desktop 8700 to new Samsung monitor. connectors sit well. Picture on Monitor looks good. My son (physics grad student) said it was really nice (had bought him one too). Fairly stiff 1/4 cable.....like a typical VGA cable (it does have a lot of conductors). Gold connectors. Looks very nice.

I'm using this to mount a Samsung RU7100 43 TV as my desktop monitor and it's perfect. Holds it right where I want it and went together with no issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really surprised how thin the screen is. It is almost too thin and makes you hesitant to try to move it around. There almost needs to be a shipping support structure that sits on it until you have it in place and can be used if you need to move it around. The set up was relatively easy, though I was surprised it could not find my cable provider. Auto recognizing Google Chromecast made what has been a problematic experience much simpler as was auto adding the app, both for Chromecast and Amazon Fire box. I thought it would control my Samsung sound bar, but it doesn't seem to. I don't particularly care that the cable interface is through an app instead of one of the inputs like on our other Samsung TV's. I like the number of HDMI inputs. Overall good quality picture. The solar charging remote is a "Duh, why doesn't everyone do this." feature that just make sense.

Everything about this monitor is at a higher level than my do the job desktop monitor. No wonder my prints were too dark before, as I could not really see the colors that I was working with, and was viewing everything too brightly as well. The view is incredible and I'm a 1000 times closer now to getting the print outputs that I need. Stay tuned...

We use this to split a single Chromecast stream to two TVs. Works perfectly. No loss of quality on either TV. It's nice to have the USB power option to keep the cables tidy.

5 stars! Stable and very easy to adjust level with slider on.

This is my first chromecast device and it works as expected.
